Our History
10 years ago, Raul was called to serve in this ministry of serving homeless people in downtown Dallas. It started simply by him and his family preparing sandwiches and passing them out to people to share the love of God. He eventually met other like-hearted people, including Sam (currently waiting to be sent out to the mission abroad), to serve this ministry together. They got shut down by the police from the place where they were holding the gathering in the early tenure of the ministry. About nine years ago, they were offered a place where the church is located until this day. The current location is owned by a missionary who allowed Raul and the team to use it free of charge as long as it is being used for the ministry. The address of the current location is 3528 S Harwood St, Dallas TX 75215. It comprises a building (without electricity) and a yard where they gather for worship and have fellowship under a tent.
Our Today
Led by the founder, Raul, and other volunteers, there have been gathering at Church every Sunday afternoon for over 10 years. This group of volunteers has been organized organically, and the ministry was set up without any legal formation until 2021. We have now formed a religious non-profit organization. The core of this ministry is having a worship service, sharing the gospel under the tent, and serving food to the congregation afterward.
